Accounting Specialist (Afterhours)

Responsibilities

• •Process and record daily financial transactions related to freight, driver settlements, and carrier/broker payments
• •Prepare and issue customer/broker invoices in a timely manner
• •Reconcile accounts payable and receivable related to loads, fuel, tolls, and maintenance costs
• •Track and follow up on outstanding/overdue invoices
• •Assist with driver settlement calculations and payroll-adjacent processing
• •Maintain accurate financial records for audits and month-end close
• •Prepare regular reports on cash flow, outstanding balances, and logistics-related expenses
• •Coordinate with dispatch, fleet, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• •Support the Finance Manager with budgeting and cost-tracking related to transportation operations
