Responsibilities
- •Recruit CDL Class A truck drivers through Facebook, Indeed, Telegram, WhatsApp, recruiting websites, and other platforms
- •Respond quickly to driver inquiries and maintain communication throughout the recruiting process
- •Conduct initial phone/video interviews with applicants
- •Explain company pay, equipment, routes, home time, requirements, and policies to candidates
- •Pre-screen applicants for CDL, driving experience, employment history, and basic qualifications
- •Verify driver information and collect required recruiting documents
- •Coordinate background checks, MVRs, drug testing, orientation, and onboarding • Follow up with applicants until they complete the hiring process
- •Maintain accurate records of every candidate in the recruiting system
- •Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers
- •Re-contact previous applicants and inactive candidates
- •Work closely with Operations, Safety, and HR to ensure drivers meet company requirements
- •Identify potential recruiting problems before a driver is hired
- •Provide regular recruiting reports to management
