Responsibilities

•Sourcing & Lead GenerationJob Posting: Creating and managing attractive job advertisements on various platforms (e.g., Craigslist, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and Facebook) to attract qualified CDL drivers.
•Cold Calling: Actively reaching out to potential driver leads from databases, presenting company benefits (pay rates, home time, sign-on bonuses), and generating interest.
•Pre-Screening: Conducting initial phone interviews to evaluate driver qualifications, experience, and career expectations.Credential Verification: Reviewing commercial driver documentation, including CDL licenses and active DOT Medical Cards.
•MVR Review: Analyzing Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) for traffic violations, tickets, and accident history.PSP Screening: Checking Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) reports for the last 5 years of crash data and 3 years of roadside inspection history.Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse: Verifying compliance through the FMCSA Clearinghouse to ensure no unresolved drug or alcohol violations exist.Employment Verification: Conducting thorough reference checks and verifying past employment history with previous carriers.

Required Skills

Cold Calling & Lead Conversion: Call potential drivers from databases, build rapport quickly, and convert leads into applications.Negotiation & Closing: Present competitive pay rates and home-time packages to successfully close deals with top-tier candidates.Objection Handling: Confidently address and resolve driver concerns regarding equipment, lanes, or dispatch styles.
