Update Specialist

Responsibilities

• •Tracking trucks and shipments throughout the day. Updating brokers and customers by phone, email, or tracking systems. Entering pickup, transit, detention, delay, and delivery information into the TMS
• •Monitoring check calls and ensuring updates are sent on time. Reporting delays, breakdowns, weather issues, or appointment changes. Coordinating with dispatchers and drivers to resolve delivery problems. Uploading PODs (Proof of Delivery) and confirming completed loads. Maintaining accurate records of shipment progress. Ensuring customer service standards and communication requirements are met.
