Fuel Monitoring Specialist

Responsibilities

• •Monitor each truck’s MPG performance and ensure it meets or exceeds the company’s established fuel efficiency threshold
• •Track and analyze driver idling time to maintain acceptable idling levels and reduce unnecessary fuel consumption
• •Ensure drivers fuel at company-approved and fuel team-recommended fuel stations to maximize savings and operational efficiency
• •Review fuel purchase activity and identify any irregularities, excessive fuel usage, or non-compliance with company fuel policies
• •Provide drivers with fuel-saving recommendations and operational guidance to improve fuel efficiency and driving habits
• •Communicate with drivers regarding MPG performance, idling issues, and fuel-related policy compliance
• •Work closely with dispatch and fleet management teams to support fuel optimization initiatives. Prepare and maintain fuel performance reports for management review
• •Assist in identifying trends and opportunities for reducing overall fuel costs across the fleet
• •Monitor fuel-related data through company tracking systems and ensure accuracy of fuel performance records
